Boxing Classes

Join our inclusive boxing classes designed for all ages and skill levels at Harrogate Boxing Club.

We offer welcoming, structured sessions for all experience levels — whether you're stepping into a boxing gym for the first time, looking to get fit, or wanting to progress further in the sport.

General Sessions (Ages 13+)

Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays 6pm-7pm

Saturday Mornings 9am-10am

Our public General Sessions are open to anyone aged 13+, with no upper age limit. These classes are ideal for beginners, fitness training, and those wanting to learn proper boxing skills in a friendly environment.

Best session for beginners: Wednesday
Arrive 10–15 minutes early and we’ll help you with the basics before class starts.

Typical Session Format:

  • Dynamic warm-up

  • Shadow boxing

  • Partner drills

  • Pad work / bag work

  • Optional body / shoulder sparring at the end

  • Cool down

What to bring:
Sports clothing, a drink, and yourself.

Kids Classes (Ages 5–12)

Kids class - Wednesdays & Fridays 5pm-5:45pm.

Wednesdays & Fridays – 5:00pm to 5:45pm

Our junior classes are designed to build confidence, discipline, fitness, and coordination in a fun and safe environment.

Sessions include:

  • Boxing basics

  • Footwork & movement

  • Games

  • Dynamic warm-ups

  • Skill development

  • Progression through Boxing Awards levels

Children can work toward recognised awards, certificates, and medal achievements.

Womens ONLY Class: Tuesdays - 7pm -

Women’s Only Class

Tuesdays – 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Led by our experienced coach Steff, who has successfully run these sessions for many years.

These sessions are welcoming, supportive, beginner-friendly, and perfect for fitness, confidence, and learning boxing skills in a comfortable environment.

Fitness & Circuit Class

Thursdays – 6:00pm to 7:00pm

Our Fitness & Circuit Class is designed for anyone looking to improve their fitness, lose weight, build strength, and enjoy a challenging group workout in a motivating boxing gym environment.

Suitable for all fitness levels, whether you're just starting out or already active.

Typical Session Format:

  • Dynamic warm-up

  • Boxing fitness drills

  • Circuits & stations

  • Core work

  • Conditioning rounds

  • Cool down

No boxing experience is needed — just come ready to work hard and enjoy yourself.

What to bring:
Sports clothing, a drink, and trainers.

Gloves provided if needed.
